Doctor Convicted of Repeatedly Raping A 10 Year Old Child: Saleh
First Vice President, Amrullah Saleh said security forces had arrested a doctor named Asadullah in Kabul who had repeatedly raped a 10-year-old boy.
Saleh posted on his Facebook page, that security forces had arrested a doctor at the Zulfiqar Hospital in Kabul named Sifat Asadullah son of Azizullah, who sexually abused a 10-year-old child constantly over time.
Saleh whined, he had instructed the Ministry of Health to obtain and cancel his doctorate degree whenever his prison term expired.
Earlier in February 2020, Human Rights Watch indicated the Afghan government’s failure of authorities to prosecute sexual assault implicating powerful people, adding that “The Afghan government should take immediate steps to provide justice, support victims, and protect witnesses”.
“Prosecuting sexual violence has long been difficult in Afghanistan, but the problems are magnified when the suspects are powerful people,” HRW-Patricia Gossman, associate Asia director said.
She had said, “Horrific cases are a litmus test of the Afghan government’s commitment to ending impunity for sexual violence.”
Besides, First Vice President Saleh added, security forces arrested 11 Taliban insurgents within 24 hours, among them an 11-year-old underage boy named Idris.
He was being forced by the insurgency group to commit a suicide attack, “Fortunately, a catastrophe was averted,” said the first vice president, expressing satisfaction with the performance of national security.
According to Saleh, the young man’s father had also been arrested for hiding his son’s membership in the Taliban.
The Family lived in PD5 of Kabul city before being investigated.
