Who is Giovanna Fletcher’s brother Mario Falcone?
TOWIE’s original lothario Mario Falcone has been tamed by his fiancee Becky Miesner.
He is now back in the spotlight after his sister Giovanna Fletcher entered the I’m A Celebrity camp.
Who is Mario Falcone?
Mario Falcone was born on 21 February 1988 and is a TV personality best known for his role on The Only Way Is Essex.
He is the youngest of three Falcone siblings – with two older sisters Giorgina and Giovanna.
The star is of half-Italian descent and is named after his father.
As well as Towie, he took part in 2013’s Celebrity Big Brother, coming in fifth place while Charlotte Crosby went on to win.

Who is Mario Falcone’s fiancée?
As of June 2017, Mario is officially off the market – after proposing to girlfriend Becky Miesner.
Becky, who works as a beautician, started dating the hunk in August 2016, and after a whirlwind romance he popped the question in Santorini, Greece.
Posting a picture of the magical moment, he wrote: “She said YES!! Very very happy and lucky.”
The 29-year-old, who briefly returned to Towie this year, also admitted that Becky, 28, was the first girlfriend he had wanted to have children with.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the couple revealed that they first met at Becky’s dad’s 60th birthday and that they had been “inseparable” ever since.
On November 10, 2018, they welcomed a son named Parker Jax.
Has Mario been engaged before?
Mario previously proposed to ex-girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh, but has since admitted that he wouldn’t have done it if he hadn’t been in Towie.
The 28-year-old has revealed that, while he doesn’t regret proposing, he felt pressured to do so by the ITVBe show’s bosses.
Mario got down on one knee and popped the question back in 2012 on an extravagant yacht while filming The Only Way Is Marbs.
He made the moment extra special by covering the deck with rose petals and making sure there was a bottle of champagne in a cooler.
Mario has also admitted that he no longer speaks to Lucy after the pair ended things.
He said: “I wouldn’t [talk to her] out of respect for her new boyfriend and for Becky. There’s no bad blood there.
“We have both moved on with our lives and I think we are both in better places.”
When did Mario first join Towie?
Mario was introduced into Towie’s third series in 2011 as Lucy Mecklenburgh’s love interest.
The Italian stallion was embroiled in many storylines, but he is best remembered for being a lothario and cheating on his other half.
After she had slept with Mark Wright, Mario ended up getting his revenge and cheated on her numerous times.
Their fiery relationship kept viewers hooked, but he left the ITVBe show after series 15 when bosses disapproved of him promoting slimming pills on Instagram, which broke ITV policy.
He missed out on a trip to Marbella with his castmates, and he ended up quitting the show just two months after his ban was lifted.
At the time, he said: “I have had a great time on Towie and relished the many opportunities the show has given me but after 14 series…
“I feel it is time to move on and explore something new.”
However, Mario made a brief comeback in the show in 2017 when he appeared alongside Frankie Essex in the series finale.
The Essex lothario also revealed he has stayed in touch with his Towie pals, including James Lock, Pete Wicks and Megan McKenna.

Has Mario had plastic surgery?
Mario revealed he underwent a painful rhinoplasty procedure to fix his “ugly” nose – which caused years of abuse.
Mario said: “I broke my nose playing football when I was 11. It didn’t bother me until five years ago when Arg and Diags picked on me about how big it was live on Towie.
“I’m proud of my Italian heritage – our nose is supposed to be a striking feature, like David Gandy.
“But everyone jumped on the bandwagon and I was bullied on social media for years, with people setting up Twitter accounts dedicated to slagging off my nose.
“I got compared to Gonzo off The Muppets and Squidward off SpongeBob SquarePants.
“I became so insecure about it I turned down modelling shoots, and would even pose for my own clothing range. I was unhappy and depressed.”
