Good Omen?

Currently watching the Semi Final preview show on Hibs TV (which is very good by the way), and there was a recap of our route to Hampden. I couldn't help but notice the incredible similarities between our 19-20 campaign so far and our route to victory in 2016.
• In 2016 we beat Inverness CT in the Quarter Final, in 2020 we also beat them in the Quarter Final.
• In 2016 we beat Dundee United, in 2020 we did the same.
• In 2016 we drew 2-2 away to a team managed by Robbie Neilson, in 2020 we did the same.
• In 2016 we beat Robbie Neilson's team in a replay, in 2020 we did the same.
• In 2016 we beat the team who were relegated from the Premiership in a semi final at Hampden, in 2020 we play the team who were relegated from the Premiership in the semi final at Hampden...
• In 2016 we knocked out Hearts, in 2020 we play them again...
A pretty impressive coincidence. I gave up the superstitious stuff after wearing my 2016 cup final outfit to our next game against Brondby, but hopefully the above stats give some Hibs fans comfort today :greengrin
The only correlation I could find between beating Raith Rovers in 2016 and BSC Glasgow in 2020 was that they both had a number 7 called Anderson playing that day. Spooky!
