Here Are All the Livestreams & Virtual Concerts to Watch During the Coronavirus Crisis: Week of Oct. 26
The week leading up to Halloween certainly features plenty of fun virtual concerts to fit the season, including shows by Lydia Lunch, heavy metal rockers GWAR, and Animal Collective’s show, which will feature a costume contest.
But there are some big non-ghostly happenings too. Sam Smith will be celebrating the release of their new album with a livestream performance from the one and only Abbey Road Studios, while Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer is set to play their new album from beginning to end from the Arcosanti desert.

Oct. 27: Lydia Lunch, Christeene and more are participating in the Halloween livestream The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET; tickets start at $10.
Oct. 30: Puscifer is playing its new album, Existential Reckoning, from beginning to end at Arizona’s Arcosanti desert for a livestream event. The show begins at 6 p.m. ET; tickets start at $19.99.
Sam Smith will be streaming live from Abbey Road Studio’s to celebrate the release of their upcoming album, Love Goes. Smith will be performing old hits as well as new tunes, and doing a Q&A with fans. There will also be special guest performances. The ticketed livestream event begins at 4 p.m. ET; find out how to get access to early bird tickets on Smith’s website.
GWAR are playing a livestream concert dubbed “Scumdog XXX Live,” during which they’ll play the entirety of Scumdogs of the Universe from beginning to end. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15, and ticket-merch bundles are available.
Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio is playing live from New York’s The Beacon Theatre as part of his virtual residency. The show begins at 8 p.m. on Twitch. All proceeds will benefit the WaterWheel Foundation.
DJ Jazzy Jeff’s Magnificent Friday Night is throwing a Halloween-themed virtual event featuring cash prizes and more. The event begins at 9 p.m. ET, and tickets start at $100.
Oct. 30-31: Rolling Loud’s second “Loud Stream” will feature live performances from Trippie Redd, Gunna and more, as well as interviews and commentary. The virtual festival will begin at 6 p.m. ET both days, and will stream on Twitch.
Oct. 31: Animal Collective is hosting a 10th anniversary party for visual album ODDSAC. The event will include a Q&A with director Danny Perez, DJ sets by members of the band, and a costume contest. The event begins at 9 p.m. ET on Nugs.tv; tickets are $12.99.
Mr. Bungle is doing a live virtual concert called “The Night They Came Home,” beginning at 3 p.m. ET. Tickets are $15.
