Single Kelly Clarkson admits she checked out guest Joel McHale’s BUTT on her show and says ‘they caught that on camera!’
SINGLE Kelly Clarkson admitted to checking out her guest Joel McHale’s butt on her show, saying “they caught that on camera!”
Kelly made the comment on Tuesday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, when she and Joel were back in the kitchen with Courtney Rich from “Cake by Courtney.”
Like Courtney, the audience tuned in via video link to make the DIY cookie butter wedding cake and the group could be seen behind Joel and Kelly on various screens.
“Kelly, are they just watching our butts?” asked Joel, who plays Jeff Winger on the NBC sitcom Community and shares two kids with his wife of 20 years, Sarah Williams.
“No they see this part,” the singer-turned-talk show host replied, gesturing towards her torso. “You just want them to see your butt!”
“I hope it goes better than last time – you said it, so I looked directly at your butt!” Kelly added, before dissolving into a fit of giggles.
“Yeah, that’s alright!” Joel said, prompting Kelly to reply that “they probably caught that on camera, it’s weird!”
Single Kelly is in the middle of divorcing her husband of seven years, Brandon Blackstock [/caption]The kitchen banter came during a tough year for Kelly, 38, who is in the midst of divorcing her husband of seven years, talent manager Brandon Blackstock.
She was recently pictured enjoying a family trip to Santa Barbara with daughter River Rose, six, and son Remington Alexander, four, both of whom she shares with Brandon after hiring a high-powered lawyer.
Kelly has hired Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie’s high-powered lawyer in her messy divorce from estranged husband Brandon.
Earlier this month, The Sun exclusively revealed that Kelly filed to replace her initial attorney, Terry Ross, with Laura Wasser on July 21.
The divorce lawyer has been dubbed the “Disso Queen,” as her A-list clients include Angelina, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner, Britney Spears, Ryan Reynolds, Gwen Stefani and more.
Who is Brandon Blackstock?
Brandon Blackstock, 43, is a music manager and amateur pilot.
Kelly met him in 2012 through Brandon’s father, Narvel Blackstock, who is also Clarkson’s manager.
The pair married a year later at Blackberry Farm, a luxury resort in Walland, Tennessee.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Clarkson filed for divorce last week.
On the topic of her birthday, Clarkson offloaded to Seth Meyers earlier this year about wanting to spend time alone.
“I looked at my husband because it was a rough week of work and non-stop everything, and I said, ‘I don’t want to cook one damn meal, I don’t want to clean one article of clothing, I don’t want to do anything,” she said.
“For my birthday, I literally asked to be left alone which is funny because we’re all in isolation but I’m not in isolation because I’m constantly surrounded by people.
“I was alone and I enjoyed it. I did nothing but eat stuff that made me gain ten pounds and I watched whatever I was watching.”
She also represented Kim in her divorce from second husband Kris Humphries.
Kelly filed for divorce in June 2020, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The star requested joint legal and physical custody of their kids, but asked the court not to award Brandon any spousal support.
The “Because of You” singer also requested the court enforce a prenup signed on October 15, 2013, and to restore her maiden name.
In Brandon’s response to the divorce, he agreed to Kelly’s request of having joint legal and physical custody of their children.

The outlet continued that the terms of the deals were verbally negotiated by Kelly’s lawyer and business manager back in 2007 and that she confirmed them on the phone. However, there is no written agreement.
Kelly recently opened up about their contentious split, telling ET it was “just a really s**ty thing” and admitting she’s “horribly sad.”
