EASTENDERS legend Adam Woodyatt has revealed the secret to his remarkable lockdown weight loss – tearing around Britain on a bicycle.
The star, who has slimmed down dramatically in recent months, even went for a ride after his EastEnders co-star Jake Wood told him to do so.

And now Adam, who split from his wife Bev after 22 years of marriage last month, has revealed cycling has helped him slim down.
Taking to his Instagram stories, the soap star shared a short video of him clad in his cycling gear while thanking pal Jake for pushing him to get active.
Speaking to the camera, he said: “Like my mate Mr Wood says, ‘you got to get out there. You got to do it.’ He goes running – I go cycling.”

In a short video he posted on Instagram, he said: “Chuckle took the tram and I ran up the steps.
“There was a few of them” he added while giving his followers a glimpse at his feat.
He also shared a snap of him cycling with Jake in August and captioned it: “If you go into the woods today… Lunchtime ride with @mrjakewood and his son”.

Adam appeared on a sons-and-mothers edition of the Stacey Dooley-fronted spin-off alongside screen mum Gillian Taylforth, who plays Kathy Beale.
This Morning soap host Sharon Marshall introduced the clip by explaining it looked like 52-year-old Adam had shed some pounds.
She said: “Gillian Taylforth hasn’t aged in a million years but Adam Woodyatt, I think, is looking very svelte, post-lockdown.”

One fan wrote: “I didn’t recognise Adam for a minute!”. Another tweeted: “F*** me Ian’s lost some weight ain’t he.”
Last month, Adam announced he had split from his wife after 22 years of marriage.

The Albert Square Icon, the soap’s longest-serving star after appearing in the first episode in 1985, has been married to Beverley Sharp since 1998.
The couple have two grown-up children together, but Adam, 52, has been staying away from the family home for several months.
It’s understood the actor made the decision to leave the relationship, but sources insist there is no third party involved.
