EMMERDALE’s Kris Mochrie has quit acting to work at a hotel after playing rapist Lee last year.
Kris, who also starred in C4 soap Brookside in 2002, has bagged a plush job promoting a four star hotel in Liverpool.

Emmerdale’s Kris Mochrie has quit acting to work at a hotel after his soap exit as evil rapist Lee last year[/caption]The actor has been given charge of marketing and training at The Shankly Hotel, a luxury £12million property billed as “a portrait of modern Britain”.
He’s worked in the hospitality business on and off since 2016 but returned to soap land for a stint in 2019 as Emmerdale’s evil Lee Posner who was brutally attacked by Robert Sugden for raping his sister Victoria.
The dramatic storyline ended with Lee eventually dying from his injuries, marking Kris’s exit from the soap in October last year.
But Kris — who is dating the actor who played his brother in Emmerdale — has since been making waves at The Shankly.

The series was filmed and aired last year but it’s being repeated on the BBC soon.
Speaking about the show, Kris from Liverpool said: “We are delighted that the BBC and Spungold chose the Shankly Hotel for its new documentary series.
“We all have a fascination with what goes on inside hotels. This documentary will give viewers a fun sneak peek inside the world of The Shankly Hotel and how our guests like to party and celebrate in style with memorable occasions and defining moments in their lives.”

The star — who was runner-up to Leona Lewis in The X Factor 14 years ago — began working for the company at the start of lockdown and is now a regular with customers in the North West.
