Piers Morgan in furious row with Jedward as they call him a ‘d***’ and he calls for their music to be BURNT
PIERS Morgan was branded a “d**k” by Jedward after he hit out at them for comments they made about JK Rowling’s new book.
Piers, 55, and the Irish twins, 28, got in a fiery exchange over Twitter after the X Factor stars slammed Rowling’s new book about a cross-dressing serial killer.
Piers Morgan got in a furious row with Jedward when he said he’d rather burn all their music than JK Rowling’s new book[/caption]Jedward told fans to use the book, titled Troubled Blood and about a cross-dressing serial killer, as a fuel to burn this winter after it sparked a fresh trans row.
Rowling, 55, had previously been accused of being transphobic for criticising a headline about “people who menstruate”.
The pair tweeted last night: “Does anyone need firewood this winter! JK’s new book is perfect to burn next to a Romantic fire Aww get all cozy and comfy can’t wait.”
Their comment came to the attention of acid-tongued Piers who mocked their pop star past.
Piers sniped: “If we’re going to start burning things – which we shouldn’t – I’d rather start with your entire musical back catalogue. fyi.”
Jedward clapped back: “It’s a joke Piers, you know like you’re (sic) life. lol.
“Supporting a book about a serial killer man who dresses as a woman to kill his victims that’s being released when trans people are actually being targeted and killed isn’t a good look, even for you..”
Piers ignored the debate but tore into the twins’ use of grammar.
He said: “a) It’s ‘your’. b) I really wouldn’t be mocking others for having a joke life. c) I haven’t read the book, and nor have you.”
Jedward didn’t take well to his remarks, and shot back: “Piers thank you for YOUR English lesson A+ for Grammar but you get a D for being a D**k Happy to hear you have our entire music back catalogue!”
Piers couldn’t help correcting Jedward’s grammar [/caption]Jedward weighed in on the row after Rowling got herself into hot water recently when she tweeted about “people who menstruate”.
She wrote: “People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?”
Her followers were thrown into a frenzy with some slamming her as “transphobic”.

However she later defended her comments saying: “If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased.
“I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”
It comes after Jedward also slammed singer Ian Brown over his controversial comments on social media about coronavirus.
