The Milkmen tied things back up in the top of the eighth with a sac fly from 3B Logan Trowbridge and a pair of unearned runs as C Christian Correa and Hill each reached on an error. In the bottom of the inning, 3B Blake Allemande singled home Hobson for what turned out to be the game-winning run.

Winnipeg 8, Fargo-Moorhead 2 – Box Score

The Winnipeg Goldeyes (13-8) used a six-run sixth inning to top the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 8-2 on Saturday night at Newman Outdoor Field.

All nine Goldeyes had at least one hit but Sweeney was the only batter from either team to have more than one hit. For the RedHawks, DH Drew Ward and 3B Leobaldo Pina each had an RBI.
