Delhi-bound vehicles face checks at 12 Sonipat checkpoints from tomorrow

Haryana police have intensified enforcement of emissions standards for vehicles entering Delhi to combat pollution. Checkpoints are established in Jhajjar and Sonipat districts, with strict checks on various routes. Only vehicles meeting specified criteria such as CNG or BS-VI diesel are allowed entry. Additionally, traffic disruptions might occur due to ongoing repair work on NH-44. Motorists are advised to keep documents and comply with regulations during this period.
