Jan Suraaj functionary Devpalik Gupta found dead near railway tracks in Ranchi after going missing from Janshatabdi Express

Devpalik Gupta, 31, a digital communications manager with Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party, was found dead near railway tracks in Ranchi’s Jarwadih village on Tuesday. He had gone missing from the Ranchi-Patna Janshatabdi Express on Monday after heading to the pantry car. Police say preliminary findings suggest he accidentally fell from the moving train. The body has been sent to RIMS for post-mortem, and an unnatural death case will be registered based on his family’s statements.
