Indigenous rice conservation effort puts Hubballi farm on global map

Parashuram Yattinagudda, a former postal department employee, now engages in organic farming on his two-acre farm. He cultivates 24 indigenous paddy varieties and provides seeds to local farmers for free. Yattinagudda has drawn attention from international students and neighboring farmers interested in his practices. His farm meets nearly 70-80% of his household needs through sustainable farming methods.
