SIR-prise: Form 7s for deletions in Gurgaon more than number of voters already removed
Gurgaon district experienced a significant number of Form 7 applications after the draft voter rolls were published. Over 4.56 lakh applications were submitted, exceeding the 4.53 lakh names deleted from the rolls. The Election Commission of India imposed limits on the number of Form 7 applications to prevent bulk submissions. Various constituencies faced drastic reductions in their electorates, prompting these applications.
