Wanted in minor’s abduction case, UP youth climbs tower, demands to marry her
Kapil Patel, a 20-year-old from Chhoti Payagpur, climbed a nearly 100-metre-high electricity tower in Sangramgarh village. He demanded that a minor girl he wished to marry be brought to him. Despite police attempts to persuade him to come down, he remained on the tower for over six hours. Patel was previously charged with abducting the girl and had obtained a stay on his arrest from the High Court.
