DD News Mizoram director Nampibou Marinmai, 2 other central officials die in Aizawl accident
Three central government officials lost their lives in an accident near Sateek village in Aizawl. While returning from Sialsuk village, their vehicle plunged into a deep gorge under unknown circumstances. The officials included Dr Engam Pame, Nampibou Marinmai, and H Lianvela. The driver, Gojendro Dey, sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Residents and the Young Mizo Association helped in the rescue operation after the incident.
