Nuh court sentences man to 10 years for raping mentally disabled minor
A man named Ram Prasad alias Gangwa was sentenced to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment for raping a minor. The offense occurred after he lured the child to a forest under false pretenses, which he later disclosed to his family. Following their questioning, the police registered a case and arrested him. The fast-track special POCSO court convicted him under applicable legal provisions and also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000.
