Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders announce they're 'ready' for historic Rio trip, Sapp update & Mr T sighting
Welcome to the final Thursday Screencaps of September and an edition where we visit with my old friend Warren Sapp who threatened to have me fired a few years back. Warren moved on from that confrontation. What's he up to now? He's been getting into confrontations at city halls and at police stations. More on that later.
Let's start with the Dallas Cowboys' cheerleaders preparing for one of the most important moments in DCC team history. The Cowboys face the Ravens Sunday in what will be the first game to ever be played in Rio. Yes, the world-famous cheerleaders will be there. "Rio ready," the team announced Wednesday in a post featuring Australian cheerleader Faith Ward, who wore Carnival costumes while appearing in cruise ship shows.
According to DCC insiders, the entire team will make the trip. "See ya in RIO COWBOYS NATION!!" cheerleader Marissa Leschber announced on Instagram.
Any worries about weather can be put to rest. It's supposed to be 76 and sunny for Sunday's game.

Screencaps readers who have been around for a few years will remember when I wrote about Sapp having a confrontation with an airline passenger that ended up on video. I eventually ended up on the phone with Warren, who was mad over the report. While on the phone, Warren threatened to have me fired and badgered me for 45 minutes, I believe.

There was a sweet moment during our conversation where I told Warren that I had to cut him off because I had to get my kids from school. He immediately understood and agreed to continue badgering me until after I got my kids.
Fast-forward to this month in Tampa. Warren is now in a confrontation with Tampa City Council that has turned into a First Amendment lawsuit. This follows a spring showdown with the Hollywood, Florida police department where he has been badgering cops since at least May of 2025.

Warren fashions himself as a justice warrior. Here he is a year ago getting kicked out of a 2025 county meeting. The South Florida Kaepernick who has now moved his operation to Tampa.
If you go back to 2023, Sapp couldn't stay out of confrontations on airplanes. It's weird how this just keeps happening to Sapp.

Streaming platforms like YTT have glommed on to the satellite/cable advantages. Just because Google puts "TV" in the name doesn’t mean its product is subject to the same regulatory framework as offerings delivered directly from CBS or Fox.
Paying for NFL Sunday Ticket package gets you a license that is governed by the Google T&C almost everyone skips over during the initial login process. Google assuredly spelled out its reservation of rights to advertise, at a minimum, its own and its affiliates products or services.
If you're a Gen Z reading this column in Dayton, OH, I'm begging you to watch this case very closely and realize that Alleigha Botner could end up on a singles site looking for a relationship. RUN! Her testimony on Wednesday in the case of the American Idol contestant accused of murdering his wife was absolutely unreal.
Botner is the mistress. Based on the text messages she read in court, she was pretty much begging the husband to shoot his wife. It turns out Botner and the husband were banging in a Vandalia, OH Chipotle parking lot. They were song leaders at a church along I-70 that I've passed thousands of times in my life.
This case might end up being one of the highest profile in Dayton history by the time Botner finishes reading the text messages she and Caleb Flynn shared with each other. Buckle up. There are 34 books of text messages. 100,700 in total.

– Brandon in NW Houston responds to Carmen Electra signing an NIL deal with BWW: Man...that little part about Carmen Electra, sports bars, and Buffalo Wild Wings really smacked me upside the head with some nostalgia. It took me back to the late 90's/early 2000's when the future Mrs. and I would go to BW-3 in the Rice Village in Houston. I believe it was the only one in Houston at the time, though I could be wrong, and it was before the place became "Buffalo Wild Wings," and it was 1000% better than any BWW today. Waiting in line to order wings, finding a table, and watching college football was peak living.
The only negative about that place was, assuming because BW-3 started in Columbus, it was the meeting place for Houston Buckeye fans to meet up and watch OSU..I kid, I kid. I really miss those days.
It turns to fall and Diesel is asking questions that your wife might find interesting. How many blankets should someone have in their house? Diesel says he and Mrs. Diesel have 10 blankets in their living room for just two people. To be fair, Diesel is a massive human.
