'Charlie's Angels' actress claims costar invited her to threesome, a contraband bra for love & no harm no foul
It's a chaotic time out there, what can I say? In last week's True Romance we were all over the map and this week we have more of the same.
Around the time I was sending the editors last week's column, the news that Aaron Rodgers had decided to kick his farewell tour off with a podcast appearance diving into his past relationships was starting to surface.
He dropped a claim that his engagement to Shailene Woodley fell apart almost immediately after he popped the question. He alleged days after his proposal that she told him, "Before we get married, I gotta go f--- this guy."

Rodgers then put up 221 yards through the air and a touchdown in a Steelers win to start the season. Woodley was then asked about it on Sunday night as she was attending a pre-Emmys fundraiser.
She didn’t answer the question, but according to TMZ, "she laughed, flashed a pretty telling smile, and kept it moving."
That's a solid way to set the tone this week. We're going to get into the time a "Charlie's Angels" actress claims that her costar invited her to a threesome with the costar and the costar's husband.
We're also going to take a look at when it goes wrong. Sometimes that happens, and you find yourself stuffing your bra with contraband due to your romantic interest in a prisoner and you get busted.
Like I mentioned, it happens. But if it's not worth potentially losing everything for it, was there ever a real shot at love? I don’t blame her. She chose to find that out and is facing the consequences.

With "Charlie's Angels" set to turn 50 on September 22, the timing of actress Jaclyn Smith's memoir "I Once Knew a Guy Named Charlie," which came out earlier this month, couldn’t have been better.
And neither could her story about one of her former costars inviting her to a threesome. The 80-year-old writes in her memoir that Tanya Roberts, who died in 2021 at the age of 65, had an open marriage with her husband Barry Roberts.
Smith says the couple "wasn't shy about it in the least, or about propositioning people to 'swing' with them," reports People.
In fact, Smith claims she was asked by Roberts to join her and her husband for a threesome during a flight to Hawaii to shoot "Charlie's Angels."
She says that she turned down the threesome offer, but that she found Roberts' "honesty about her sexuality to be brave and self-aware."
Smith added, according USA Today, "The world is made up of all kinds of people with all kinds of passions, and hooray for that. My own perspective on marriage was traditional, based on the values I grew up with. Her choice seemed complicated to me, with great potential for hurt feelings."
If that doesn't sum up this column perfectly, I don't know what does.
We have a world with all kinds of people taking all kinds of approaches out there, and you don't have to agree with or even understand them to sit down, unpack them and judge them in your own way.
I think that's part of the beauty of what we do each week. Open marriages don't have to be your thing to read about an elderly actress’s account of having her costar ask her to join in on a threesome.

From one touching story to another.
This one is of a prison pharmacy technician who dared to risk everything for love. The 61-year-old woman began what was labeled a "flirtatious online relationship" with a man.
She later found out that he was a prisoner and continued to flirt with him through Facebook. She was eventually paid to smuggle drugs into the prison.
She's now serving a six-year prison sentence after she was strip searched and caught with cocaine, a spice paste which is made in a lab that mimics cannabis and tobacco stuffed in her bra, reports Yahoo News.
That turned out to not be her first attempt at smuggling contraband into the prison. She admitted that she had smuggled in SIM cards for money prior to being caught.
It was partially for the man she flirted with online, and she needed the money because she was in debt. She was found guilty and given her sentence back in February.
Now it wouldn’t be risking everything if she was simply fired from her job and put behind bars for several years. The reason her story is back in the news is that she also had to be banned from working as a pharmacy tech.
That took place after the General Pharmaceutical Council heard the case and ruled that she breached professional standards.
You live, you flirt online and dare to take a chance on love, and you learn.
Who doesn’t want to hear about the possible soulless and depraved having an affair and getting away with it? I know I do.
