Puri's Jagannath Temple sets traps to catch rats destroying sibling deities' sacred attire
Puri's Jagannath Temple authorities are using traditional pest control methods. Traps will be used to catch rats and cockroaches alive for release. This measure is taken due to a surge in rodent and insect populations. Earthen pots with jaggery and sticky substances are also deployed. Paths used by pests are being blocked to prevent entry.
