An Indian Forest Service officer from Haryana will review nominations for UNESCO World Heritage status. Dr Vivek Saxena, an experienced conservationist, will evaluate sites for the 2027 nomination round. He is the first IFS officer from Haryana's cadre to receive this international recognition.
