Fractured leg, Rs 22 lakh bill: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren orders probe into hospital after teen's death
Following a directive from Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a four-member inquiry committee inspected a private hospital in Ranchi amidst allegations of medical negligence and exorbitant billing. The probe was triggered by the death of an 18-year-old, Raju Kumar Ranjan, who allegedly succumbed to an infection after a fractured leg was mismanaged, with the hospital presenting a bill of nearly Rs 22 lakh.
