Campbell's rolls out new soups, including first-ever gluten-free chicken noodle variety

Campbell’s signature red-and-white soup cans are evolving, as several new soups join the historic brand’s lineup.

Campbell’s Condensed Gluten Free Banza Chickpea Pasta and Chicken Soup

With gluten-free eating becoming increasingly common among Americans, Campbell's has partnered with Banza to launch a new gluten-free version of its iconic condensed chicken noodle soup.

"The new variety pairs the comfort of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup with Banza’s beloved gluten-free chickpea penne pasta, delivering the classic flavor fans know and love," Campbell’s announced in a news release.

According to the company, roughly 30% of the U.S. population actively seeks gluten-free options, "and the U.S. gluten-free market is projected to grow at a 9.8% compound annual growth rate from 2026 to 2033."

Gluten is a type of protein found in certain grains and is common in bread, pasta, baked goods and some sauces and soups. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes the body to attack the small intestine when a person eats gluten.

About 1% of the population has celiac disease, but "only about 30% are properly diagnosed," reports the Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF).

More people are believed to have non-celiac gluten sensitivity or non-celiac wheat sensitivity than celiac disease, although exact rates remain uncertain.

According to the CDF, people with gluten sensitivity can experience depression, ADHD-like behavior, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, bone or joint pain and chronic fatigue when they have gluten in their diet.

"For over 125 years, Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup has been a staple in homes across America," said Benjamin Crook, senior vice president of soup at The Campbell’s Company. "Partnering with Banza lets us bring that same classic chicken noodle taste to the growing number of people looking for gluten free options, made with ingredients like No Antibiotics Ever chicken meat and Banza’s chickpea pasta in a flavorful variety that will stand out on shelf."

The new chicken noodle soup is available now on Amazon and will roll out to retailers nationwide, the company announced.

Campbell's Chunky Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup

Campbell’s Chunky, the heartier version of the brand’s soups, has teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) to create Campbell’s Chunky Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup.

According to Campbell's, Buffalo Wild Wings is "the largest sports bar brand in the United States." The soup collaboration is part of a "rapidly growing off-premise business through Buffalo Wild Wings GO," the takeout and delivery arm of BWW.

The soup company said the partnership "reflects Chunky brand’s broader strategy to reach a new generation of soup consumers through modern, bold flavors."

Seventy percent of Americans report protein as the nutrient they most want to consume, a 2025 International Food Information Council survey found. The BWW soup contains 17 grams of protein per 18.8-ounce can. Retailers began selling it this month.

Campbell’s Chunky x Pabst Blue Ribbon Beef, Bacon & Beer Chili with Beans

Last fall, Campbell’s introduced two new Chunky soups "just in time for soup season" and in keeping with the company's goal of offering consumers bolder flavors.

Campbell’s Chunky x Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Cheese with Potatoes & Chorizo Soup includes chorizo and potatoes "simmered in creamy cheese infused with Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer flavor."

Campbell’s Chunky x Pabst Blue Ribbon Beef, Bacon & Beer Chili with Beans features seasoned beef, beans and smoky bacon and PBR flavor, according to the company.

Both soups are sold exclusively at Walmart.

Last year, Campbell's CEO Mick Beekhuizen said that consumers are cooking at home "at the highest levels since early 2020 and turning to our brands for value, quality and convenience."

In 2025, Campbell’s experienced "an unspecified increase in soup sales and a 5% decrease in organic sales of snacks," Axios reported.
