Medical stores across Ranchi and Jharkhand remained closed on Wednesday due to a nationwide strike called by the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists. Over one lakh medicine shops in the state participated, causing inconvenience to patients seeking essential medications. The strike protested the rise of online pharmacies and alleged malpractices.
