NHAI to develop state’s first ‘bee corridor’ in Sambalpur, Dhenkanal & Ganjam dists
Odisha is set to get its first bee corridor. The National Highways Authority of India will plant nearly 20,000 flowering trees along highways in Sambalpur, Dhenkanal, and Ganjam districts. This initiative aims to support honeybees and other pollinators. The project will ensure a continuous supply of nectar and pollen. Plantation will be completed by March 2027.
