Shankarpur Rail Overbridge Inaugurated in Dumka, Easing Deoghar Commuter Traffic
The Shankarpur Rail Overbridge (ROB) on the Satsang–Bhirkhibad main road in Dumka has been inaugurated, providing much-needed relief to Deoghar commuters. This 808-meter bridge, built at a cost of Rs 37.55 crore, will significantly ease congestion at the Naiyadih railway crossing. The ROB ensures smoother access to AIIMS Deoghar, Giridih, and Ranchi, overcoming previous delays due to land acquisition issues.
