The Premier League's chief executive Richard Masters received a 30 per cent pay rise to take his annual earnings to £2.63million 727in salary and bonuses — but its annual accounts give no indication when the case against Manchester City for 130 alleged rule breaches will be completed.
Masters's long-term incentive plan contributed just over £1million to his pay, about double the bonus of the previous season, reflecting the growth in the league's overseas TV deals.
