Glasgow City Preview: Tickets, H2H & More

Fixtures
- Hibernian Women Vs. Glasgow City Women - Sun, May 10 2026, 16:00
THE LOWDOWN
Joelle Murray’s side are seeking to return to winning ways after our nine-match unbeaten league run came to an end last midweek.
We fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Rangers at Broadwood Stadium on Wednesday 29 April, with Katie Wilkinson scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in a tightly-contested match.
With three matches remaining, we are fifth in the SPWPL standings; and having accrued 46 points, we are currently one point behind fourth-place Celtic.
The Hibees are unbeaten against our upcoming opponents in league competition so far this season, with our most recent defeat to City in the SPWPL occurring on 22 September 2024. Should we win or draw on Sunday, it will be the first league season since the 2007 campaign that we have avoided defeat against Glasgow City.
TEAM NEWS
Tegan Bowie missed last week's match against Rangers due to an injury sustained versus Celtic in the previous match. The winger will be assessed ahead of this weekend.
Kirsten Reilly also missed out versus the Light Blues, while Linzi Taylor has undergone surgery on her ACL injury and remains out long-term.
THE VISITORS
Glasgow City are currently third in the SPWPL, level on points with second-place Rangers and four points behind first-place, a position the Springburn outfit had held for the majority of the campaign.
Leanne Ross’ side have slipped behind in the race for the title after enduring a tricky run of results post-split, picking up two wins against Partick Thistle but remaining winless against the other four clubs, including Hibs.
Our recent post-split meeting – on Wednesday 1 April at Petershill Park – ended in a 1-0 Hibs victory and was settled by Eilidh Adams’ terrific second-half strike.
At the weekend, City were defeated 3-2 by Celtic after 120 minutes at Hampden Park in the Scottish Cup Semi-Final.
Linda Motlhalo forced extra time with a late leveller to nullify Saoirse Noonan’s opener, before former Hibs pair Amy Gallacher and Shannon McGregor would settle the contest for the Hoops - with Emily Grey sweeping in a late consolation for City.
