50 Cent's New Show 'Fightland' Premieres on Starz This July, Not Related to 'Power'
50 Cent has carved his place in the rap world as a Grammy-winning artist and in the social media space as a prolific troller, but he’s also become quite the force in Hollywood. While he’s made moves as an actor, even starring in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, it's his work in TV and film behind the scenes that is making him a juggernaut in the entertainment space.
On the documentary front, the “In Da Club” rapper served as executive producer for projects like The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets and, most notably, Sean Combs: The Reckoning. Then on the scripted front, he’s executive-produced the popular Power Universe, with the original Power series and its subsequent spin-offs. And now, adding to the already forthcoming Billion Dollar Lawyer,it’s been announced that 50 Cent has another new show set to air this July. A series that sees him back in business with Starz, and has nothing to do with Power.
50 Cent’s ‘Fightland’ Premieres July 31, 2026
It was announced on May 5 that 50 Cent is serving as the executive producer of the brand-new drama Fightland, set to air on July 31 on Starz. The series takes viewers across The Pond to the UK and follows a disgraced boxing champion, who was formerly incarcerated but returns to London, seeking revenge against a crime family he believes betrayed him. Speaking with Deadline about the upcoming project, 50 Cent states:
“Fightland marks my first internationally produced show through my G-Unit Film & Television. I am excited to bring that global energy to the screen. I anticipate this to be more successful than anything I’ve done before—boxing’s raw stakes are gonna take it to another level.”

Well before Fightland makes its series debut, Power Book III: Raising Kanan returns with a new season that kicks off on June 12 on Starz. It’s likely to be a bittersweet moment for fans of the show, as Season 5 will be the last of the series.
Then there’s Power: Origins. The series explores the early years of the characters from the foundational drama Power. While an official release date for the new spinoff hasn’t been set, it’s believed the show could debut as early as later this year.
