Latest planning applications in Dartford include EV chargers outside McDonald’s and refurbishment of Hayden Youth Association
Plans for “ultra-rapid” electric vehicle (EV) chargers and improvements to a youth club are among the latest applications submitted to Dartford council.
Developers want to install two 400kW chargers along with four accessible charging bays and associated infrastructure outside McDonald’s in Princes Road, Dartford.
The planning application states the scheme would significantly boost EV charging capacity in the area.
Plans have also been lodged to extend and refurbish Hayden Youth Association in Leyton Cross Road, Wilmington, a voluntary run organisation which provides football for boys and girls.
The works would include the addition of standard changing facilities and a "high quality function area” at the site.
Elsewhere, retrospective permission is being sought for land behind Fairfield in Green Street Green Road, Darenth.
The proposal involves dividing the land into five separate storage yards, which would be used for commercial storage purposes. It includes fencing, resurfacing and landscaping works.
