Rihanna Made Sure To Respond To Pregnancy Rumors Before The 2026 Met Gala
Rihanna made sure to shut down pregnancy rumors before the 2026 Met Gala.
Rihanna continued her tradition of arriving fashionably late to the 2026 Met Gala, but made sure to get ahead of any pregnancy speculation before stepping out in a Maison Margiela gown that could have hid a baby bump if we didn’t know any better.
In April, the Fenty founder, 38, got ahead of rumors when she responded to an Instagram post that speculated that she was secretly expecting her fourth baby. “???? is the baby in the womb with us?” Rihanna commented under the video, which was posted by the account @everybodyhatekrissy, appearing to end speculation before it got too far.
The singer certainly proved she knows how to do a public pregnancy announcement after announcing her second pregnancy at the 2023 Super Bowl and her third pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who confirmed their romance in November 2020, are parents to sons RZA, nearly 4, and Riot, 2, and a daughter, Rocki Irish, 8 months.
However, this was a pregnancy-free outing for the couple who arrived together at the end of the Met Gala red carpet. Rihanna wore a sculptural metallic look while Rocky channelled his new role as a girl dad in a pink suit.
Rihanna is back on red carpets after three consecutive pregnancies and got honest about embracing her post-partum body during an outing at Dior’s haute couture show at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. “I wanted the coats, I wanted the dresses, I wanted the skirts with a little bump [at the stomach] ‘cause I got a little pouch after having kids, so I’d love that. I loved the accessories — the bags, the shoes, the earrings — everything was perfectly made, super well done, super whimsical. Everything made me excited. It was a very thrilling show,” Rihanna said in the video interview, per Us Weekly.
