Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at the 2026 Met Gala?
Are Billionaire musician Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce expected to attend tonight's Met Gala in New York City?
Fans of the high-profile celebrity couple shouldn't hold their breath, as Swift and Kelce's names aren't on the tip sheet, as confirmed in a new report by Cosmopolitan. Unless Swift and Kelce surprise everyone at the event, this will be Swift's 10th year in a row skipping it altogether; the last time she attended was in 2016.
Cosmopolitan's list shows that EJAE, Amelia Gray, Anne Hathaway, Margot Robbie, Hunter Schafer, Connor Storrie, Hudson Williams, Rachel Zegler, and Chase Infiniti are all expected to attend tonight, among the 400 guests.
Last year, Swift and Kelce were said to be taking a "break from the spotlight" around the time of the gala. A source told People in April 2025, "They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it. They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them … They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”
Swift previously attended the gala in 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014. In 2016, she served as co-chair of the event. Swift and Kelce have been engaged since August 2025. The pair were seen attending the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March, where Swift took home seven awards.
The Met Gala red carpet is expected to start around 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. The evening's dress code is "Fashion Is Art," and the exhibition is titled "Costume Art."
