Bored dogs have a real gift for finding the one thing in your house they should absolutely not put in their mouth. Socks, throw pillows, the corner of the rug you already replaced once — somehow, it all becomes fair game when a pup needs something to do. That is where a treat-hiding dog toy can earn its keep, especially when the Wagorific elephant “Trunk or Treat” snuffle plush is on sale for $7 instead of its usual $14.
Unlike a regular plush dog toy that mostly asks your dog to squeak it until everyone in the room starts twitching, this one gives them a little job. The elephant has hidden treat compartments and snuffle-style layers, so dogs can sniff, paw and work their way toward little biscuits or training treats. One shopper with a high-energy pup said they tucked a few small biscuits inside and it kept their dog “focused and working” while she figured out how to get them out.
That is the real appeal for pet parents shopping for dog enrichment toys, snuffle toys or indoor dog toys for boredom. The soft plush design encourages curious play, while the squeaker keeps things interesting after snack time is over. One reviewer said the toy made rainy-day entertainment “much easier,” adding that the plush held up “reasonably well” to moderate chewing and gave their dog “an extra layer of excitement” once the treats were gone.
Another shopper said the hidden treat setup made the toy a “smash hit” in their home. They liked that the snuffle layers were easy to load with little goodies and said that, when fully packed, the toy gave their dog a “very long time of interest and fun engagement.” In other words, exactly the kind of thing you want when your treat-motivated pup has decided your laundry basket looks like an enrichment center.
The Wagorific line also includes other versions, like a $10 snail, a $13 ramen toy and a $16 kangaroo with joeys in the pouch, but the elephant has the best sale price right now. The toys are made with recycled PET plush sourced from reclaimed ocean plastics, and the elephant is machine-washable, which matters because treat toys do not stay pristine for long.
One important caveat: this dog toy, like every dog toy, is not indestructible. One reviewer called it “super cute” and well made, but said it may not be the right pick if your dog is “really hard on toys or a heavy chewer.” For mild to average chewers, small to medium dogs or snack-motivated pups who need a better hobby than sock theft, the $7 elephant is worth tossing into your cart while it is half off.
