Anne Nicole Smith’s Daughter Dannielynn Birkhead Fully Embraces Goth Style at the 2026 Kentucky Derby

In case you missed it, Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn Birkhead has completely transformed her look into a gothic-rock style (and even changed up her usual Kentucky Derby attire)! Now, with the Kentucky Derby, most people (and even Dannielynn in previous years) go all out with the colors. However, along with her new hair, Dannielynn is going with a new style (and it’s so gothic chic)!
In case you missed it, on May 2, Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn wowed at the Kentucky Derby 152 at Churchill Downs. See the photo below:
For the big day, Dannielynn wowed in a chic black and white floral gown from Mac Duggal that matched her gorgeous new hair (and her jewelry)!
Truly, we’re obsessed with her fully embracing her new style, even in a color-filled event. (And for those wondering, her first dress was a corseted black tulle gown from Punk Rave!)
And in a recent interview during the Kentucky Derby with Access Hollywood, Dannielynn revealed the inspiration behind her new looks, saying, “I feel like a vampire, which is the goal every day.”

For those who don’t know, Smith welcomed two children into her life: a son named Daniel Wayne, born in Jan 1986, who tragically died in 2006, and a daughter named Dannielynn, born in Sept 2006. Tragically, Smith passed away all too soon in Feb 2007.
Back in 2023, Larry revealed that he saved many of Anna Nicole’s clothes, and Danielynn has already snagged many of them (as we’ve recently seen).
“There’s some T-shirts and different things she fits in, but there’s also some things that she’ll say, ‘Dad, no thanks, that’s not my style,'” he said to People. “There’s also some things that would have to wait till later. Some things are a bit more revealing and low-cut.”
