Pokémon fans rejoice! It’s the franchise’s 30th anniversary of the nostalgic video games and trading cards that adults and kids still love and can’t get enough of. To celebrate the anniversary, a handful of retailers are launching collections for fans, giving them new merch, toys, beauty, and gear to keep their love of Pokémon alive. One you don’t want to miss? A limited-time collection at Target that drops online May 2 and in-store on May 3.

What to Expect From the Pokémon x Target Collection Drop

The exclusive collection includes first-of-its-kind and fan-favorite pieces across fashion, electronics, toys, and more. A few standout pieces that caught our eye are a starter jacket, mystery water bottle box, kickballs, stickers, and action figures of beloved Pokémon characters. Target notes that the collection will roll out in two phases. The first launches on May 2 and features 65 items, and the next phase goes live on June 6 with an additional lineup of 40 items.

It’s also impressive that the Pokémon collection is offered at accessible price points, with many pieces ringing in at under $20 and items starting at $3.

“For 30 years, Pokémon has sparked joy, imagination, and connection for all types of fans. This collection is designed to bring that sense of fun and adventure into everyday life, with merchandise that appeals to both longtime Trainers as well as those who recently began their Pokémon journey,” added Amy Sachtleben, senior director of licensing and promotions at The Pokémon Company International.

Starting on May 2, Pokémon fans can score this mystery water bottle. Each box features a different design with a reflective Pokémon print. It’s made from copolyester with a silicone and polypropylene lid, making it perfect for tossing into backpacks and sports bags.

This half-zip jacket is a must-have piece from the collection. It features a distinct color pattern decorated with embroidered Kanto badges on the back side of the flaps and the zipper pocket. There is also a hood with a pull-cord adjuster and a Pokémon logo.

Summer is quickly approaching, which means the kids need some new outdoor toys to keep them busy. Make sure you snag this rubber kickball that’s shaped like a real-life Poké Ball. It comes in this classic red-and-white pattern, or you can grab one in blue-and-white.

Caboodles teaming up with Pokémon was not on our bingo card for 2026, so this on-theme portable case is a thrill. These youth hoodies won’t be in stock for long since they have the coolest design. Kids will go crazy over the brightly colored letters that read “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!” and the Pikachu silhouette graphic on the sleeve.
