Man United urged to hand Tottenham another Eberechi Eze hijack nightmare
A big six club has been warned not to allow Tottenham Hotspur to win the race for Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi.
Some reports suggest that Senesi has reached an agreement to join Spurs on a free transfer as long as the club remain in the Premier League.
However, others have opined that the deal is far from done and that other Premier League clubs could still hijack Tottenham’s move for the Argentine.
What seems to be clear at the moment is that Spurs have held talks with Senesi’s representatives, and a Premier League rival has now been advised to get involved in the race.

Mark Brus told CaughtOffside a few days ago that Man United are also keeping an eye on Senesi’s situation, but suggested that the 28-year-old may be leaning towards a move to N17 if De Zerbi’s men stay up.
Journalist Alex Crook admitted he is bemused that the Red Devils have not taken some concrete steps towards signing Senesi, given their need for defensive reinforcements.
Crook told talkSPORT: “In terms of depth, I’m a little bit surprised that we’re not showing more interest in Marcos Senesi down at Bournemouth. Available on a free transfer, proven in the Premier League.
“Chelsea had a look. Tottenham I think have got a pre-contract agreement [with Senesi] if they stay up. And just in terms of a body, I think that would be a useful acquisition.”
Fellow United fan and presenter Angelina Kelly agreed with Crook, stating: “You look at some of the Forest centre-backs as well [Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic], could be good options. But I agree [about Senesi], if you’re a footballer, [and] you’re looking at Spurs, [or] Man United, you know which one that you’d like to go with.”

Senesi insists he has not agreed a deal with any club, although he confesses that his Cherries teammates do not believe him when he says the same.
Kelly, and fellow United fan and presenter, Flex, want to see the Red Devils swoop in at the final moment for Senesi after Tottenham Hotspur do the groundwork, just as Arsenal did to land Eberechi Eze last summer.
Kelly added: “Maybe another reason why everyone will want Spurs to go down, because then, if that pre-contract agreement goes out the window, then we’re sorted!”
Flex joked: “If Spurs are one for getting deals organised, and then all of a sudden, they’re not there [in Premier League] anymore…Let them do all the leg work and then we will just come in at the end”, and Cooked then quipped:”[Until] a proper football club comes in.”
