As the youngest team in the playoffs, the Canadiens were considered underdogs in their first-round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

But the Canadiens showed that experience isn’t everything against the Lightning, who made the playoffs for the ninth straight season, including back-to-back Stanley Cup wins in 2020 and ’21.
