PSA: Sunscreens aren’t just for sunny days. In fact, dermatologists recommend applying one every day, regardless of the season or weather conditions. Whether you’re a sun protection enthusiast or need to implement a trusted one into your daily routine, don’t miss EltaMD UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40, one of the top dermatologist-recommended sunscreens. The brand just launched a Lucy Kirk Limited Edition EltaMD UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 just in time for Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
Lucy Kirk is an illustrator known for creating whimsical illustrations. The artist designed the special-edition packaging for EltaMD’s beloved SPF to bring a fresh twist to daily sun protection. To raise awareness, EltaMD will donate one sunscreen product to the Melanoma Research Foundation (up to 26K units — a retail value of $1M) for every unit sold, “helping expand access to sun protection and support ongoing education and prevention efforts,” the brand shared in a press release.
“At EltaMD, our goal is not only to protect skin, but to change how people think about sun care,” said Echo Sandburg, Chief Marketing Officer, CP Skin Health US. “With this year’s Skin Cancer Awareness campaign, we’re evolving the conversation around SPF, pairing a meaningful give-back with a design-forward approach. We selected UV Daily for this initiative because by wrapping this daily essential in a vibrant, limited-edition design, we’re providing a visual reminder on the vanity to reinforce daily use of sunscreen.”

The UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 is praised for its lightweight finish and 2-in-1 formula that protects and moisturizes simultaneously.
Its comfortable wearability stems from its formulation, which includes hyaluronic acid that locks moisture into the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. There is also vitamin E, to help reduce the appearance of aging. Lastly, zinc oxide protects the skin from damaging UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.
To apply, pump the product out and then massage it into the skin. EltaMD recommends applying the SPF at least 15 minutes before sun exposure, then reapplying every 2 hours.
Size: 1.7 fl oz.
Active Ingredients:
Octinoxate 7.5% and transparent zinc oxide 9.0%
Water Resistant: No
Although the newly packaged sunscreen hasn’t racked up any reviews just yet, here’s what shoppers say about the brand’s original daily broad-spectrum SPF 40.
“I’m 54 years old, and I never felt my skin healthy and hydrated at the same time, 100% recommend,” a five-star reviewer said.
Reviewers with darker complexions also praise the formula. “No white cast on my African-American skin,” a shopper wrote. “I’ve been using it for the past two months. No irritation and no white cast. I use Vanicream moisturizing face lotion first, then the Elta MD SPF. I come home for lunch and reapply for more moisture.”
Don’t wait to snag one (or two) of the limited edition EltaMD UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 ahead of warm weather and beach days.
