The New York Knicks lead the Atlanta Hawks 3-2 in the first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs.

The No. 3 New York Knicks have a chance to eliminate the No. 6 Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs. Below, you can find everything you need to know about the game, including where to watch Knicks vs. Hawks, start time, venue, odds, and details on future games.

Knicks vs. Hawks Game 6 will be available to live stream on ESPN via YouTube TV, DirecTV, Sling TV, Fubo, or ESPN Unlimited in the US, on TSN in Canada, and on NBA League Pass almost everywhere else. Keep reading for additional details and a breakdown of which services have free trials.

What channel is the Knicks vs. Hawks game on?

In the US, the Knicks vs. Hawks game will air on ESPN. The network is hosting a Playoffs doubleheader tonight, with the Nuggets vs. Timberwolves game immediately following.

Where to watch Knicks vs. Hawks in the US

You have several options for live streaming ESPN in the US. You can watch the network via a live TV streaming service, such as YouTube TV, DirecTV, Fubo, and Sling TV. You can also use the network's direct streaming counterpart, ESPN Unlimited. All of these services are month-to-month, meaning that you can cancel at any time without being stuck in a long-term contract.

When it comes to live TV services, YouTube TV is currently offering a can't-miss limited-time deal, where you can get $75 off your first five months of service (that's $15 a month), with the ability to cancel at any time. That brings the standard $83 a month plan down to just $68 a month for five months. The deal is for new users, who will also get a five-day free trial. YouTube TV's main plan includes over 100 popular channels, and ESPN is also available in the cheaper YouTube TV sports plans.

DirecTV is another fantastic service and one of the best live TV streaming services we've personally tested. ESPN is available in all Signature plans, along with the budget-friendly DirecTV MySports genre pack. MySports carries around 20 popular sports networks and unlocks access to ESPN Unlimited. Subscriptions cost $65 a month, but new customers can get $20 a month off their first two months of service after a five-day free trial.

Sling TV and Fubo are two other popular live TV streaming services that carry ESPN in their line-ups. The cheapest monthly Fubo plan with ESPN is Fubo's Sports + News subscription, which costs $56 a month ($10 off the first month after a one-day free trial). The cheapest monthly Sling TV plan with ESPN is the $20 a month Essentials plan. You can also get ESPN in Sling Orange, which costs $46 a month or $5 for a single-day pass. This single-day pass is the cheapest way to live stream the game in the US without a free trial, but Sling Essentials is the most affordable way to watch ESPN Playoff games on a monthly basis.

Finally, you can live stream ESPN directly via the network's streaming counterpart, ESPN Unlimited. The service carries live streams from all of ESPN's linear networks, along with ESPN Plus/Select exclusive content and ESPN on ABC programming. Subscriptions go for $30 a month, but you can find some month-over-month savings by signing up for one of the Disney Plus bundles or the ESPN Unlimited and NFL Plus Premium bundle.

How to watch Knicks vs. Hawks in other regions

Several regions outside the US have their own TV broadcast agreements for the NBA Playoffs. In Canada, TSN will air coverage of tonight's game. Most countries outside Canada (after the first round) and the US live stream the Playoffs via NBA League Pass, even if they also have existing broadcast coverage for select games. NBA League Pass subscription prices vary by region, with plans starting at AU$25 a month in Australia and £17 a month in the UK. You can click through to the NBA League Pass purchase page to see if the Playoffs are available in your region (and at what price).

How to watch Knicks vs. Hawks from anywhere

Basketball fans can still access their usual viewing options while traveling abroad by using a VPN. VPNs (virtual private networks) allow people to temporarily alter their device's virtual location, enabling all of their usual websites, apps, and services to function just like they would back home. The best VPNs are instant ways to improve online privacy and security.
