The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 30 April 2026: Seven day outlook for Sydney
We’ve had a run of fab weather this week, and so not so fab surf.
The Outlook is still for mostly nice weather and there looks like some waves too, coming from the East.
Looks like that’s from the top of the two Highs across the Tasman sending steady wind and accordingly swell, over quite a distance, with nothing to stop it until it bangs into the East Coast of Oz. Hope it’s polite.
Friday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range from East and South
Saturday: in the 1-2 metre range East, starting to come up during the day
Sunday: up around 2 ish metres from the East
Monday: maybe a bit more. 2-2+ metres East
Tuesday: similar
Wednesday: easing back a bit in the 1-2 metre range East
Thursday: ditto going down a bit more.
Stay well. Stay safe. No lifesavers or council lifeguards around now. If you’re unsure, surf with friends?/ make new friends.
