Young Leaders Programme Launched
The Colwyn Bay FC Foundation celebrated the the launch of its new Young Leaders programme, an exciting initiative aimed at supporting and developing young people aged 14–17 across the local community.
The programme is designed to equip participants with the skills, confidence, and experience needed to become positive role models and active citizens.
Through a structured pathway of learning and hands-on involvement, young people will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in a supportive environment.
As part of being selected for the programme, participants will also gain access to additional coaching and development qualifications. These recognised opportunities are intended to enhance their future career prospects, whether within sport, education, or the wider workforce.
This initiative reflects Colwyn Bay FC Foundation’s ongoing commitment to investing in young people and strengthening community engagement across North Wales. By providing meaningful opportunities for development, the club aims to inspire the next generation to lead, contribute, and succeed.
Speaking about the launch, club COO Josh Antoniou said:“We are delighted to introduce the Young Leaders Programme as part of our wider commitment to supporting young people in our community.
“This initiative is about more than football, it’s about building confidence, developing skills, and opening doors for the future.”
The Young Leaders Programme will create a platform for participants to gain practical experience, develop leadership qualities, and make a positive impact both within the club’s community Foundation and their local communities.
