Korea Baseball Softball Association partners with School Sports Promotion Association to introduce Baseball5 in schools
The Korea Baseball Softball Association is working in connection with Korea's School Sports Promotion Association (SSPA, the governing body for school sports in Korea) to expand Baseball5's reach in schools nationwide.
The SSPA launched a video series aiming at revitalising physical education in elementary, middle and high schools across Korea. A reporter visits various schools to promote and participate in physical education classes.
In the first episode, Baseball5 features as a curricular activity. The five-on-five street version of Baseball/Softball proving once again to be an ideal activity for students of all ages.
"introducing Baseball5 to students through regular physical education classes is vital for its promotion," stated KBSA in a press release.
Korea is No. 11 in WBSC Baseball5 World Ranking, the No. 3 programme in Asia behind Japan and Chinese Taipei.
