I also have had a positive dishwashing experience when using Snapware's containers. While my containers have left the dishwasher with some small spots and stains, they smelled good as new and were far less dirty than my previous containers had been. 

The one and only downside I found using the Snapware containers is that lingering food odor was a bit difficult to eliminate with handwashing only. I typically wash food storage by hand, and these containers needed two or three hand washes to no longer smell like the food they held. This isn't particularly significant, especially since the dishwasher easily eliminates the odors, but I'd advise those who prefer to hand wash to proceed with caution.
