Aga Khan V Completes London Marathon, Underscores Focus on Health and Physical Activity
Aga Khan V, the spiritual leader of the global Ismaili Muslim community, completed the London Marathon on Sunday, marking another long-distance running milestone as he continues to promote health, fitness, and active living.
According to The Ismaili, Aga Khan V finished the race with a personal best time and congratulated other members of the Ismaili community who also took part in the event. He also thanked supporters who gathered along the marathon route.
The report highlighted his continued emphasis on physical wellbeing and referenced previous remarks encouraging people to stay active and incorporate exercise into their daily routines regardless of age or schedule.
Despite his leadership responsibilities, Aga Khan V has maintained a commitment to endurance sports and regular exercise. He previously completed the Berlin Marathon and the Chicago Marathon.
The London Marathon, held annually in April, is one of the seven World Marathon Majors and draws tens of thousands of runners from around the world, ranging from elite athletes to amateur participants.
