Back in 2021, JEnnifer Aniston took a snapshot of herself backstage on the set of The Morning Show. To our delight, this wasn’t your normal backstage photo. Instead, it was a picture comprised of products her stylist, Chris McMillan, and her makeup artist, Angela Levin, used on her during the shoot. While there were so many great products included, one product in particular really caught our attention.
We spotted the Tatcha Serum Stick, a convenient, multi-purpose product designed to hydrate, fight signs of aging, and provide a moisturizing layer beneath your makeup.
Tatcha The Serum Stick
The Tatcha Serum Stick is a treatment and touch-up balm made of 80 percent squalane and Japanese lemon balm, which contributes to anti-aging and moisturizing properties. It’s also fragrance-free, cruelty-free, and dermatologist-tested. Per the brand, the stick is said to help smooth out fine lines and add a dewy finish to wherever you apply it. After two weeks, over 95 percent of people felt much more radiant, less dry, and less texture in their skin, according to Tatcha — so that may be why Aniston is all over it.
Aniston isn’t the only one who loves it because it’s become a staple in so many people’s skincare and makeup routines. One reviewer on Tatcha said: “The serum stick has been my saving grace. I apply it under my foundation and it makes me look so glowy & hydrated. I love that you can use it on top of your makeup too for touch-ups! This is my new must-have!”
Another added, “I’ve never used Tatcha before and I must say that I am in love! This is definitely helping target those very dry spots with this winter weather. I must say it is saving my cheeks!”
If you need more convincing, one shopper immediately fell in love. “I use it under my eyes and on my eyelids,” they wrote. “I am allergic to many skin products, so it’s nice to find an excellent smoothing stick that I can use. This stick smooths out the wrinkles around my eyes, and moisturizes there too. I love this.”
One shopper over 60 loved the “hydrating and plumping effect” of The Serum Stick. They wrote, “This is nice to apply to provide some local hydration to problem areas that need it, such as the crepey skin beneath my eyes and the fine lines around my lips. The serum stick makes the fine wrinkles less visible and make the dry areas look dewy. My T-zone is oily but my cheekbones look dry so it’s nice to be able to apply it just where it is needed.”
