Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE had to pre-tape WrestleMania 36. The company decided to spread the event over two nights, with most matches being taped at WWE's Performance Center.
The Styles-Undertaker match was filmed on a built set in Orange County, Florida. The Undertaker won his swan song match to finish with a remarkable WrestleMania record of 25-2.
