It’s been a long week for the Parke community. Those dedicated to the brand have most likely been in awe that not only is the Parke x Target collab real, but it’s dropping very soon, in less than 12 hours soon. And if you’ve been keeping up with all the buzz on the internet (like we have!), then you’ve probably seen the playful summer camp-inspired campaign and all the influencers sharing their goodies. Yet you might still be wondering: will it be worth the late-night drop, and is it even the same? Luckily for you, our shopping team is just as dedicated to Parke and has done some of our own testing to answer all your burning questions ahead of drop time.

What Time Does the Parke x Target Collection Drop?

First thing’s first: the most important thing to know ahead of time is when the Parke x Target collection drops online. After all, we’re dealing with a high-demand drop here. Given how Parke’s FOTM drops tend to sell out in literal seconds, there’s a good chance the most highly-coveted items (i.e. the mockneck sweatshirts, claw clips, and tote bags) will go FAST.

So, set your phone timers now because the drop happens early in the morning on Saturday, April 25th (tomorrow!). It’s set to drop at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET on Target.com

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get to the info you’ve also been curious about.

Are the Parke x Target Mockneck Sweatshirts the Same? 

They’re not exactly the same, which is still okay in our opinion. They have the same oversized, boxy silhouette and mockneck collar. The major difference is the fabric. Unlike traditional Parke, which is made with the iconic Fleece or Heritage material, the new Parke x Target sweatshirts are made with a lightweight French terry designed for summer. 

Another major difference is the logo. Most Parke sweatshirts you see feature the classic varsity-style lettering, and it’s often embroidered on the sweatshirt. In this collab, the logo is just an outline stitched into it. Lastly, the new Parke x Target mocknecks have thumbholes! Which I found to be a pleasant surprise. All in all, it’s still worth it considering it’s over $100 less than one you would buy from the brand’s site.

What’s the Sizing Like for the Parke x Target Collab?

For the sweatshirts, they’re pretty spot on with what you would find on Parke’s site, but now with extended sizing. They’re available in XXS/XS, S/M, L/XL, 1X/2X, and 3X/4X. You can find that type of range throughout the entire collection, from tops and bottoms to swim. As for the denim, it ranges from 00 to 30.

Since The Fabrics Aren’t The Same, What’s Worth Getting From the Collection?

If you’re a real Parke fan, you should try to snag at least one sweatshirt. But the stripe sets are another fun must-have that gives OG vibes. As someone who covers the brand a lot, I have to say that it’ll probably sell out the quickest because they’re so similar to the stripe sets you would find on Parke’s site. I would also say, try the swimwear, since this is their first time giving it a go. I trust Target’s swim line through and through, so I know these pieces will be great.

Since the Drop is on Target, How Can I Successfully Score My Top Picks?

Like any other Parke drop, you’re going to want to be prepared. Since this one is happening late at night and early in the morning for the East Coasters, you’re gonna want to be very vigilant at staying on top of it. For those who don’t know, the drop happens at 12 a.m. PST / 3 a.m. EST on Target.com.

First things first, you’ll want to log in to your Target Circle account as soon as possible. This is crucial as inputting your information after everything is in your cart is usually how you end up missing out.

After that, you’ll want to get on your computer or phone a couple of minutes before, no later than 11:57 p.m./2:57 a.m.

Next, just be patient and start refreshing your page a minute before. Once the items are officially available, add what you want to your cart, and you should be good to go.
