Taylor Swift Ranked No. 1 Most-Streamed Artist of All Time
To celebrate two decades of business, Spotify released the data on the most-streamed artists of the past 20 years.
Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift tops the list.
The 'Fate of Ophelia' singer has released 12 studio albums since debuting with 'Taylor Swift' in 2006. She famously re-recorded four of her first six albums, calling them 'Taylor's Version,' before purchasing the rights to her masters in May 2025. Swift has landed 15 albums at the top of the Billboard 200, coming in second only to The Beatles with 19.
While accepting the Artist of the Year prize at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Swift reflected on her three decades in the music industry.
"I love writing songs more than anything in the world. And I didn’t think I was an artist when I first started doing it. It was a hobby. It was a hobby, and then it was my favorite hobby," she said. "So thank you for allowing me to turn my hobby into a love, into a passion, into a dream, into a career. Thank you for allowing me to have it this long."
Swift's most recent LP, 'The Life of A Showgirl,' sold 4.002 million equivalent album units (pure album sales and streaming), breaking the first week sales record long held by Adele's '25.'
The Eras Tour hitmaker's 2018 album 'Lover' was Spotify's eighth most-streamed album of all time, while 2022's 'Midnights' came in at 18.
The rest of the Stockholm-based streamer's list of the 'Most-streamed Artists of All Time' features enough superstar wattage to power a small country. 'DTFM' singer Bad Bunny comes in at second place, with Drake, The Weeknd and Ariana Grande rounding out the Top 5 in that order.
