Badminton Pan Am Holds 2026 AGM in Denmark
The Badminton Pan Am Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 was held on Thursday, April 23, in Horsens, Denmark, bringing together members of the Executive Board and delegates from Member Associations across the continent.
The meeting was presided over by BPAC President Armando Bruni, who led discussions focused on reviewing the 2025 reports from each operational area, while also promoting new initiatives aimed at strengthening the continued development of badminton in the Pan American region.
During the meeting, delegates were honored by the presence of Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, President of the Badminton World Federation, and Etienne Thobois, Deputy President. Both leaders shared words of recognition and encouragement, highlighting the progress of the region. The BWF President also extended her congratulations to Badminton Pan Am on the celebration of its 50th anniversary, acknowledging five decades of commitment to the growth of the sport in the Americas.
Following the AGM, delegates are preparing for the upcoming BWF Annual General Meeting, scheduled for April 25. The region will be actively represented by BWF Council Members Vishu Tolan, Pilar Carrillo, and Jose Del Busto, who will contribute to key decisions shaping the future of the sport at the global level.
