Roy Keane makes bold Tottenham relegation prediction, starting with a big win over Wolves
Roy Keane has delivered a clear verdict on Tottenham Hotspur’s relegation battle, offering a prediction that will give Spurs supporters a glimmer of hope ahead of a defining run-in.
Tottenham Hotspur have it all to play for this season, with five games left before the 2025/26 campaign comes to a close.
However, it has been far from an ideal run in the Premier League this term for the Lilywhites, who find themselves firmly engulfed in a relegation scrap.
Spurs are in the bottom three, two points adrift of safety, and are battling for their league status with three other teams – West Ham United, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.
Unfortunately for Tottenham, Opta’s AI predicts Spurs are the most likely side in the relegation scrap to be playing in the Championship next season.
Tottenham relegation verdict delivered by Roy Keane
Roy Keane has now offered his verdict on whether Tottenham will be able to beat the drop this campaign.
The Lilywhites did show some promise last time out against Brighton and Hove Albion, a game where they went in front twice only to be pegged back late on by a Georginio Rutter strike.
This week, Roberto De Zerbi will be hoping his side can build on that performance when they face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league, and Keane has given his prediction for that match.
Speaking on the fixture and Spurs’ chances, he said: “3-1 to Spurs. Spurs will be fine. Do you know it is about time they show a bit of fight, a bit of energy, a couple of lads coming back. Even Maddison was on the bench.”

Spurs backed to survive over Nottingham Forest
When asked who he believes will ultimately be relegated, Keane explained his concerns about Nottingham Forest’s schedule before delivering a firm stance on Tottenham’s survival.
He said: “I still think Forest. Forest have a couple of European matches. I know that was a huge win for him, it was a great response after being one-nil down. But I am just worried about when they have got those games in between.
“West Ham or Forest. Spurs are staying up.”
