European Aquatics will host two Athlete Media Training sessions in 2026, with the first taking place next Friday, 1 May at 15:00 CET. Athletes and interested participants are encouraged to register now to secure their place.

While primarily designed for athletes – covering key topics such as social media strategy, personal branding, and handling interviews in mixed zones – the sessions are also open to coaches, team staff, and other aquatics stakeholders.

In this edition, the media training will focus on two core parts. The first, on social media presence, will be presented by European Aquatics Digital Manager Andreas Georgiou and Social Media Content Creator Lily Csonka.

The second part will focus on interview skills, led by European Aquatics media experts, with the participation of key figures including former artistic swimming athlete Emma Garcia.
